Giba Gorge is a 45km-plus trail network through indigenous forest in the Giba Valley near Pinetown, built primarily for mountain biking, trail running and hiking, with waterfalls and strong birding along the way. The park is open 365 days a year with an on-site cafe, bike hire, a Sunday community run and stone hideaway cabins for overnight stays. Dogs are welcome but must stay on a leash at all times to protect wildlife, and open flames, outside alcohol and outside catering are not permitted.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are permitted throughout the park but must remain on a leash at all times to protect wildlife and other visitors; off-leash dogs are not allowed on the trails.
