Jameson Park, also known as Robert Jameson Park, is a rose garden and lawn across the road from Mitchell Park in Durban's Morningside suburb. In 2020 eThekwini's Parks Department banned dogs here after complaints about waste left on the grounds, ending what had been a popular local dog-walking spot. Residents challenged the decision as unlawful and petitioned to have it reversed, but the ban has remained in place. Visit in September to see the roses in full bloom.
