On the Klein Joostenberg farm off the R304 at Muldersvlei, between Stellenbosch and Paarl, these picnics are eaten on rolling lawns under the trees or on a covered stoep when the weather turns. The picnic-style menu draws on the farm's own bistro, butchery and deli, and the setting is relaxed and family-oriented, with a children's play area, wifi and parking. Dogs are welcome on a leash by prior arrangement, and resident dogs, chickens and geese wander the garden. Group bookings are advised on weekends and holidays.
