About ten kilometres north of Plettenberg Bay off the N2 towards The Crags, Moss & Maple is the restaurant and farm stall at Maple Ranch, a working quarter-horse stud with an adventure centre and guest cabins. An 80-metre covered deck and wide lawns surround a pub, a farm shop and a large kids play park with free pony rides, and the menu runs from breakfasts and wood-fired pizzas to curries, ribs and pies. Well-behaved dogs are welcome on sections of the covered decks, the lawns and the shaded pavilion.
