Salt of the Earth Café

A family-run health shop in the basement of Athlone Circle Centre, started in 2006 by a father-daughter team who began by packing Himalayan salt and organic pepper before expanding into a full wellness store. Alongside organic groceries, supplements and natural remedies, the café counter serves simple food such as rolls, toast and biltong. It trades weekdays from 9am to 5pm and Saturdays until 2pm, closed Sundays, functioning more as a health-shop coffee corner than a standalone restaurant.
