Halfway round the hiking and mountain-bike trails on Rosemary Hill farm, off the N4 east of Pretoria, this glass-walled cafe and wedding venue serves wood-fired pizza, pasta, burgers and breakfasts made with organic farm produce, with plant-based options and a fireplace for cold days. It opens Friday to Sunday only, plus takeaway pizza on Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and is cash-free. Dogs are welcome for day visits: they walk the trails free on a lead, and water bowls are set out in the venue spaces, though they cannot stay overnight.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are welcome as day visitors at no extra charge but must be well socialised, kept on a leash at all times and cleaned up after. Water bowls are provided throughout the main venue spaces and coffee shop. Dogs are not permitted in any accommodation units or overnight. Human trail day passes are R50 per adult.
