Aston Bay Beach

A low-key residential beach suburb of Jeffreys Bay, roughly 50 miles west of Port Elizabeth, that began life as a fishing village in the 1850s. It now centres on Marina Martinique, a canal-side residential development with private moorings, alongside a calmer stretch of coast than the town's famous surf breaks further along the bay. The beach suits a quiet walk or swim away from the crowds drawn to Jeffreys Bay's main surfing spots.
