Trading since 1997 on Dolphin Drive at Marina Martinique, this Jeffreys Bay institution sits directly on the sand between the town and Aston Bay, with a covered beach-sand floor and a large open fire at its heart. Most dishes are cooked over coals: line fish, oysters, mussels, calamari and other seafood alongside traditional South African plates. Owners Shawn and Michelle took over in 2019 and also host events. Open from 11:00 daily, closing at 20:00 Monday to Thursday, 21:00 Friday and Saturday, and mid-afternoon on Sundays.
