Part of The Cornerstone Lifestyle Centre on the R404 between Fancourt and Redberry Farm outside George, this daytime café looks out over farmland to the Outeniqua Mountains. The centre is a restored historic building shared with a winery and deli, an oyster bar, cycling and equestrian shops, and a self-service bar, so you can order from several counters and eat at any table. Expect breakfasts, wraps, sandwiches, a falafel bowl and coffee, with a small lawn where children can play. Open weekday mornings to mid-afternoon and weekend mornings.
Note from SitnStay: The Cornerstone's tenant listing says the café welcomes furry companions. Note that the café's own website is offline and one restaurant aggregator lists it as permanently closed, so confirm it is trading before making the trip.
