Belgian-style beer is the point of Hey Joe, a craft brewery with a taproom and restaurant on the R45 about 3km outside Franschhoek. The range runs from lager and blonde to witbier, cherry, session IPA and Belgian stout, paired with a Belgian-inspired menu that includes vegetarian, vegan and children's dishes. Indoors you eat looking into the working brewhouse; outdoors there are mountain views and a children's play area. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor section. Open daily 11am to 10pm, with an events venue and beer shop.
