Smitten

Tucked into The Yard courtyard at 38 Huguenot Street in the centre of Franschhoek, Smitten combines a restaurant, deli, bakery and bar under chef Chris Smit and broadcaster Imraan Vagar. It started as a pop-up at the village market before settling here. Expect hot and cold breakfasts until noon, lunch built on regional produce, afternoon tea, cocktails and house-baked cakes, served inside or at courtyard tables under a tree. Open daytime only, closed Tuesdays, walk-ins only. No pet policy is published.
