No enclosed outdoor space — keep recall-shaky dogs on a lead.
Dogs can't come inside.
Bounded by Hume Road, Kent Road and Northumberland Avenue in Dunkeld West, this suburban park sits between Rosebank and Sandton and is cared for by the Friends of Hugh Wyndham Park with the Craigpark Residents' Association. A paved loop suits walkers and runners, open lawns are used for games and picnics, and there is a fenced children's play area and cricket practice nets. A natural spring feeds a small wetland, a remnant of the Braamfontein Spruit, that draws birdlife. Dogs are welcome on the open spaces provided owners clean up.
Note from SitnStay: Dog-friendly open space on condition that owners act responsibly and clean up after their dogs. No designated off-leash zone or leash rule is published.
