A neighbourhood park of about five hectares on Epsom Road in Stirling, next to Nahoon in East London, James Pearce Park is a municipal space used for picnics, cycling, runs and dog walks. Tennis courts sit alongside wide lawns, children's play equipment and outdoor weight-training stations. After a period of decline the park was fenced, alcohol was banned and guards now staff the entrance and log visitors, which has brought families back. The public gates are open from 07:00 to 17:00.
Note from SitnStay: Dog walking is listed among the park's intended uses; no leash rule was published. Security guards at the gate record the details of everyone entering, and alcohol is banned.
