This Newton Park referral hospital treats only dogs and cats, seeing cases referred by other vets rather than working as a general practice or offering after-hours emergencies. Founded in 2008 by Dr Marlies Boehm, a South African, Royal College and European recognised specialist in small animal internal medicine, it offers advanced diagnostics including ultrasound, echocardiography, endoscopy, CT and MRI scanning. The practice's own three rescue dogs, Demi, Mocha and Tosca, greet visitors at reception.
Note from SitnStay: Specialist canine and feline internal medicine referral hospital; not a GP vet and does not offer after-hours emergency care unless referred by the patient's own vet. Referral-only, by appointment.
