Koekela Huiskafee

A daytime home-style café in a converted house at 17 Reid Street, Westdene, a ten-minute detour off the N1 through Bloemfontein. Run by the same owner since 2010, it serves all-day breakfasts, pies, quiche and bobotie, a large vegan selection and cakes baked fresh each morning, with a leafy garden for outdoor tables. It also hosts small functions and sells celebration cakes. Reservations are essential; open Monday to Saturday, closed Sundays. Dog policy is not published, so ask when booking.
