Named after a woman who ran a food truck on this stretch of Sea Point in the 1960s, this all-day café at 206 Main Road is a five-minute walk from the Promenade. Warm wood, hanging plants, reading nooks and a big shared table set a come-as-you-are tone, and ordering is self-service at the counter. The menu covers breakfast through dinner with fried chicken sandwiches, prego rolls, pastries, sourdough toasts and slow-cooked ragu; there is no liquor licence, so bring your own. Open daily from early morning until late, walk-ins only.
