Melkbaai

Melkbaai is the main beach of Strand, a roughly five-kilometre stretch of sand on False Bay about 22km from Stellenbosch. It's rated among South Africa's safest bathing spots, with calm, sheltered water suited to families and swimmers rather than big surf. Nearby beachfront extras include a water park, mini golf and a surf school, with easy reach of Strand's other surf breaks and tidal pools.
