Tucked beside the Still Waters boutique hotel on Braemar Avenue in Glenashley, Durban North, this cafe and bar feels more like a garden than a suburb: tables sit under a canopy of trees beside a koi pond, with fairy lights for the evening crowd and monkeys occasionally passing overhead. Breakfast runs to bagels, benedicts and granola bowls with Gatvol coffee, and the bar takes over on Thursday to Saturday nights with salsa and line-dancing classes, karaoke, sports screenings and private functions. Pets are welcome in the garden.
