Sunset Beach is a long stretch of sand in Milnerton, backed by dunes with wide views across to Table Mountain and Robben Island. It's popular for surfing, kitesurfing, and beach walks, and is one of Cape Town's better-known off-leash dog beaches, with dogs free to run along the shore and through the dunes. Parking at the main access points is limited and fills quickly on weekends.
