Bertrand Café

Bertrand Café is a French-inspired coffee shop, restaurant and jazz bar on Fox Street in Johannesburg's Maboneng Precinct, opened by two French-Congolese owners drawing on the café culture of Paris's Latin Quarter. By day it serves coffee and a menu blending French technique with African specialties, plus a house label of locally made wines; by night it turns into a jazz venue with regular themed nights such as karaoke. Outdoor tables look onto Maboneng's street life.
