Carved into a natural cave below Marine Drive, about 100m from Hermanus's Old Harbour, this seafood restaurant spills out onto the rocks at the edge of Walker Bay, where whales pass close to shore in season. The menu leans on line fish grilled over an open fire, bouillabaisse, platters and oysters at a bar on the rocks, backed by an award-winning Cape wine list kept in the cave cellar. Lunch runs daily, weather permitting, with dinner in season or by arrangement. Hermanus Tourism lists it as pet friendly.
