Perched on the Onrus River estuary just outside Hermanus, this kitchen bar has a deck that looks across the lagoon to the blue flag beach, so children can paddle while adults eat. The menu mixes fresh sushi and seafood with a Waffle Shack of build-your-own waffles, loaded hot dogs and fries, plus cocktails and local craft beer, from breakfast at 8am through to 8pm every day. Dogs are part of the scene: a bowl of treats waits at the entrance and a dedicated Puppy Menu launched in 2025.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are welcome and catered for: treats are offered at the entrance and a Puppy Menu of dog dishes and treats was introduced in August 2025. The estuary and beach are right beside the deck.
