No enclosed outdoor space — keep recall-shaky dogs on a lead.
Dogs can't come inside.
Neighbourhood cafe in Vredehoek whose verandah opens straight onto Deer Park, a public green space on the lower slopes of Table Mountain with wide views over the city. The weekly-changing menu leans on home-style cooking with Goan-influenced Indian specials from the chef, plus fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, vegan and vegetarian dishes and a children's menu, using free-range and seasonal produce. Leashed dogs are welcome at the outdoor tables and staff bring out water bowls; the park next door is ideal for a walk before or after.
