Pringle Bay Beach is a safe, family-friendly swimming beach in the small coastal village of Pringle Bay, on the Kogelberg coast between Betty's Bay and Cape Hangklip. It's popular with anglers as well as swimmers, and shells often turn up after winter storms and at low tide. Dogs are allowed on the beach and coastal paths but must stay on a leash, with owners asked to watch for breeding oystercatchers nesting on the sand.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs must be kept on a leash in public areas including the beach, coastal and cliff paths, and the wandelpad; owners are asked to watch for breeding African black oystercatchers on the beach.
