Tom's Place Resort is a self-catering getaway on Tierpoort Dam, about 25km south of Bloemfontein off the N1. Guests choose between fully equipped chalets, cottages and electrified campsites with hot-water ablution blocks, and spend their days fishing, birdwatching, swimming in the pool or stargazing over the dam. Braai areas are dotted around the grounds.
