Modenso Park, on Rhyn Avenue in Bayswater, Bloemfontein, is the home ground of the Bloemfontein Society of Model Engineers. Volunteers run miniature steam and diesel trains on Sundays, giving visitors short rides through a tunnel and over a bridge, alongside a small museum of model steam engines. There is a play park for children, picnic tables, and a tuck shop selling pancakes and drinks. Entry is free.
