Whale Tail Lookout Point

This is a scenic viewpoint on Formosa Street in Bitou, overlooking Plettenberg Bay's main beach from an elevated spot above the Indian Ocean. Open around the clock with a small car park and seating, it draws visitors for whale and dolphin watching during migration season and for photographing the sweep of coastline below. Walking trails lead off from the lookout for further exploring the area, making it more a quick stop than a full outing.
