Southern Cross Beach House is a boutique guesthouse on Robberg Beach in Plettenberg Bay, its all-white architecture drawing on Mauritian tea-plantation style. Guests reach the sand via a private boardwalk and can swim in the pool, eat breakfast on the terrace, or use the honesty bar looking out over the ocean. It sits close to Robberg Nature Reserve, about ten minutes from the town centre, and is home to two resident dogs, Marley and Summer.
