Leashed dogs are allowed on the beach under Mossel Bay's municipal by-laws, though access is restricted during the Blue Flag season when the flag is flying, typically over the December holiday period. It's an easy walk from central Mossel Bay's shops and restaurants.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. As a Blue Flag beach, dogs are not permitted on the sand while the Blue Flag is hoisted during the peak holiday season.
