No enclosed outdoor space — keep recall-shaky dogs on a lead.
Dogs can't come inside.
Noordhoek's much-loved village green is a historic open space pieced together from 18th-century farmland, now preserved as a public park and community space managed by the local residents' and ratepayers' association. Locals gather at the common on Avondrust Circle for picnics, kite flying, informal cricket and football, and community events, and children have swings to play on. Dogs are welcome, with a designated dog park area where they can run off-leash under supervision, though horse riders frequent the common so keep excitable dogs close.
Note from SitnStay: Dogs are allowed on the common, and there is a designated dog park area where dogs may be off-leash under their owner's supervision. Horses frequent the common, so dogs that react to horses should be kept well clear of riders.
