Boggoms Bay Beach lies on a quiet stretch of Western Cape coastline between Mossel Bay and Vleesbaai, in the small coastal settlement of Boggoms Bay. Unlike the area's Blue Flag beaches, this stretch is designated by the municipality for daily dog walking, with rules on leashing, control and waste clean-up rather than a seasonal ban. It offers a relatively undeveloped, low-key coastal walk on the Garden Route, well suited to owners travelling with dogs.
Note from SitnStay: Mossel Bay Municipality designates the stretch between the south of Boggoms Bay beach and the north of First Beach, Vleesbaai, for daily dog walking from 06:00 to 20:00. Dogs must be leashed and under strict control at all times, vicious dogs muzzled, and owners must clean up waste immediately.
